Urban Sandbox Privacy Policy
Mykyta Levikin ("we", "us", or "the developer") provides Urban Sandbox ("the game" or "the Service"). This policy explains what information is processed, why it is used, who may receive it, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account and device identifiers: a device-derived identifier, PlayFab player ID, Photon session identifiers and, if you use Google Play Games, your Google player identifier and basic profile information provided by Google.
- Information you provide: your nickname and multiplayer chat messages. Messages are transmitted to other players in the session. We do not intentionally maintain a permanent chat archive.
- Game and account data: progress, inventory, virtual currency, selected region, room and matchmaking data, multiplayer actions, achievements, settings and transaction status.
- Advertising and consent data: advertising identifiers, consent choices, ad requests, impressions and interactions, IP address, device and app information, and an approximate region inferred from technical information. The game does not request Android precise-location permission for advertising.
- Technical data: device model, operating system, app version, language, network information, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs generated by service providers.
- Purchase data: if purchases are available and used, product identifiers, purchase tokens and validation results. We do not receive your full payment-card number; payments are processed by Google Play.
Local information
Nickname, language, region and settings may be stored locally on your device. Clearing the game's app data or uninstalling it removes local information, but does not automatically delete server-side account data.
Why we use information
- To create and maintain a player account and restore game content.
- To provide matchmaking, multiplayer gameplay and chat.
- To operate inventory, virtual currency, achievements and purchases.
- To serve and measure ads according to your consent and applicable law.
- To prevent abuse, secure the Service and diagnose technical problems.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
Advertising and consent
The game uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Where required, UMP asks for your consent before ads are requested. Based on your location and choices, Google and selected partners may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. You can later change eligible choices through the game's Privacy Options entry point. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Privacy informationWe may disclose information when legally required, to protect players and the Service, or during a business transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising disclosures may be considered "sale", "sharing", or targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws; eligible users can use the privacy choices described above.
Legal bases and international transfers
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, processing is based on performance of the Service, your consent, our legitimate interests in security and reliable game operation, and compliance with law. Providers may process information outside your country using their applicable contractual or other lawful safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain server-side account and game data while needed to provide and protect the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Provider logs, advertising records and purchase records are retained under provider policies and applicable law. After a valid deletion request, we delete or de-identify data under our control unless retention is legally required. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, appeal a privacy decision, or complain to your data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights. We may need limited information to verify that the request relates to your game account.
Account and data deletion
Email darksidegames.developers@gmail.com with the subject Urban Sandbox Data Deletion. Include your in-game nickname and, if available, PlayFab player ID. Do not send passwords, payment-card data or identity documents unless we explain why verification is necessary.
Request data deletionChildren
Urban Sandbox is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required. The threshold may be higher where local law requires it.
Changes and contact
